Feb 24, 2020 (newstodate): If all pieces fall into place, Moldova will soon see the launch of new carrier: HiSky.
Currently under formation, the airline is aiming at the local and regional air travel market in a partnership with the Romanian operator Cobrex Trans.
Still awaiting the final licences, plans are to start traffic with one or two Airbus A320 aircraft on the AOC of its partner Cobrex Trans that today operates only one Boeing 737-300 aircraft.
HiSky will start out with a route network from Chisinau comprising six European destinations - London from April 10, Paris from April 11, Dublin from April 15, Lisbon from April 16, Bologna from April 16, and Dusseldorf from April 13, 2020.
With the latest revision of the EU Blacklist, all of Moldova's carriers, except for Air Moldova, Fly One and Aerotranscargo, are banned from the EU airspace.
