Dec 15, 2020 (newstodate): Still struggling with the coronavirus, Estonia's Tallinn Airport is seeing the reopening of several routes in December 2020.
As of now, the airport offers flights from Tallinn Airport to 12 international destinations, with three more routes to reopen within a week.
Flights are provided by airBaltic to Amsterdam, Berlin, Brussels, Copenhagen, London, Oslo, Riga and Stockholm, while SAS in online with flights to Copenhagen and Stockholm, while Lufthansa and LOT operates flights on routes to Frankfurt and Warsaw, respectively.
Starting from December 17, easyJet adds flights from Tallinn to London; on December 18 Wizz Air adds flights to Torp, and from December 19, Ryanair opens flights to Milan.
Passenger volumes are still low at Tallinn Airport that handled only 25,948 passengers in November 2020, down 88 percent, y-o-y.
