Dec 10, 2020 (newstodate): Opening the 15th base in Italy, Ryanair is launching flights to 18 destinations from Venice Treviso Airport.
With two Boeing 737 aircraft to be based at Treviso, Ryanair's new routes include flights to Billund in Denmark with two weekly rotations starting from April 2, 2021, and two rotations to Riga from March 30, 2021.
For Denmark's Billund Airport, the coming connection to Venice marks a first-ever with no competitors to Ryanair, while the route between Venice and Riga will see airBaltic joining the race from May 1, 2021, having served the destination seasonally since summer 2008.
