Dec 11, 2020 (newstodate): While volumes are still modest, Latvia's Riga Airport sees a sustained positive trend in air cargo volumes in 2020.
   A total of 2,370 tonnes of cargo was handled which was down 4.1 percent, y-o-y, but the largest volume in a month so far into this troubled year.
   1,632 tonnes was cargo which was also the highest in 2020, while mail volumes at 738 tonnes are still below levels in 2019.
   During January-November 2020 the airport has handled 20,520 tonnes of cargo and mail, down 16.8 percent - but with a strong positive trend after all.
