Dec 11, 2020 (newstodate): Nordic-Office of Architecture has been selected to participate in the project for a new airport to serve Delhi.
Together with the UK company Grimshaw and the Norwegian-British Haptic Architects and supported by the Indian group STUP Consultants, the partners have won a tender for designing the new Delhi Noida International Airport to be operated by Zurich International Airport.
The winning team has also been involved in airport projects at Oslo and Istanbul.
Among other participants in the airport construction project is also Denmark's COWI on the engineering side.
The airport is slated for commissioning by April 2023.
