Dec 02, 2020 (newstodate): Euroavia is determined to realize its series of annual Nordic Air Cargo Symposiums - but the coronavirus is still in command...
The current restrictions on travels and larger public gatherings have repeatedly forced the postponement of this year's Nordic Air Cargo Symposium 2020.
The symposium was to take place in Copenhagen April 20-21, 2020, but was later rescheduled for November 24-25, 2020, instead.
Now, the tentative date for the Symposium sponsored by Copenhagen Airport has been set for May 18, 2021.
-Should this also prove impossible, the event will be pushed further back to spring 2022. One thing is for sure: we will NOT replace it by a virtual web-conference, says Lars-Gunnar Comen, Euroavia International CEO.
-On the other hand, Euroavia is now calling participants to World Cargo Symposium 2021 on January 26-27, 2021. This event will be web-based with 50-60 speakers from around the world, including Fredrik Wildtgrube from Finnair Cargo and Martin Langaas, Avinor.
-The seminar will allow participants to pose questions and comments in a dialogue with the speakers and among themselves via a video chat facility securing a lively atmosphere and a unique chance for debating issues and challenges in today's air cargo environment, says Mr Comen.
