Dec 14, 2020 (newstodate): Jetpak Holding, with HQs in Sweden, has become a member of the North Atlantic Association, a network of port agents and logistics companies in Greenland, Iceland, Faroe Islands, Svalbard and Canada.
-We strive to be part of business developments in the Nordic and North Atlantic markets, and in this case our point of departure is our services to customers in Norway, not least the coastal regions, says Rasmus Enderslev, Jetpak CCO.
-Members of the NAA also include companies like Eimskip and TVG that are very active in servicing ships in European ports, and we see potentials in providing logistic services to the growing cruise liner business targeting the North Atlantic region where Iceland is obviously playing a major role.
-We have no plans to set up offices in Iceland or Greenland, but by joining NAA we signal our intention to position ourselves in the developments in the "polar circle" with Iceland as its core and stretching into the arctic region that is clearly gaining attention from many new players around the world, says Mr Enderslev.
