Dec 07, 2020 (newstodate): The Lithuanian MRO provider FL Technics has now secured a foothold in the Canadian market for aircraft maintenance.
   Last week, FL Technics thus announced the acquisition of Wright International providing aircraft line maintenance services, AOG support, and training for airlines at Canada’s major international airports, including Toronto Pearson, Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal-Mirabel and Ottawa.
    Also last week, Storm Aviation Limited, a subsidiary of FL Technics and member of the Avia Solutions Group,  acquired the UK-based line station network from MRO service provider SR Technics.
   The assets transferring to Storm Aviation Ltd ownership include five UK-based line stations in London Heathrow Airport, Gatwick Airport, Stansted Airport, Manchester Airport, Birmingham Airport, plus a tooling, loan, repair, and calibration center in Stansted Airport.  
   Together with its subsidiaries, FL Technics today offers line maintenance services at over 70 airports and base maintenance services at five locations around the globe.
