Nov 17, 2020 (newstodate): The BAA Training flight base in Lleida-Alguaire Airport has gained an important new customer after a thorough audit.
Having passed the compliance audit, the BAA Training flight base in Lleida-Alguaire has received official approval from the leading French ENAC, Ecole Nationale de l'Aviation Civile, to provide flight training for ENAC's students.
ENAC annually completes some 30 training programs with 3,000 students, in addition to international and continuing education for 3,500 trainees and more than 650 training sessions.
-Receiving a flight training approval from ENAC, governed by the French Civil Aviation Authority, empowers BAA Training to work with the major European and Asian airlines, such as Air France and others, and contribute to training their future pilots, Egle Vaitkeviciute, BAA Training, says in a release.
In 2018, BAA Training, member of Lithuania's Avia Solutions Group, expanded its activities to comprise also flight training in Spain though signing up with Lleida-Alguaire International Airport in Spain, with activities taking effect from October 1, 2018.
In 2019, BAA Training expanded again with a second training base in Spain at Castellón Airport.
