Nov 05, 2020 (newstodate): Fingers are crossed at Lietuvos Oro Uostai, Lithuanian Airports, the state-owned company managing the country's three international airports, as to air traffic in December 2020.
Marked by the current coronavirus lockdowns around Europe, the airports of Vilnius, Kaunas and Palanga are now seeing flights down to a total of 32 destinations, compared to 80 last year.
So far, none of the airlines operating flights to Lithuania have cancelled routes for December, but activity is down and passenger volumes plunged by 88 percent, y-o-y, in October 2020.
