Nov 24, 2020 (newstodate): A leading European cargo GSSA, the Kales Group has a new man at the top: Sebastiaan Scholte.
   Mr Sholte took over the position as Kales Group CEO as of November 23, 2020, replacing Dirk Hazenoot who served with the Group for 20 years, the last two years as CEO.
   Mr Scholte brings in more than 20 years of experience from senior management roles in Aeromexico cargo and Cargolux Airlines and as CEO of Jan de Rijk Logistics, besides serving as Chairman of the Cool Chain Association and as a board member and chairman of TIACA.
   With more than 30 offices in over 20 European countries, as well as offices in Mumbai, Toronto, Quito, and Bogota, the Kales Group handles some 250,000 tonnes of cargo for over 90 airline customers around the world.
   Set up in 1994 by Peter Kales, Kales Group was acquired by World Freight Company in May 2011.
