Nov 16, 2020 (newstodate): From the start of this month, the Board oft Greenland's airport company, Kalaallit Airports, has a new Chairman: Kjeld Zacho Jorgensen.
   Mr Jorgensen has taken the office left vacant by the demise of Johannus Gunnar Egholm Hansen who had been serving as Chairman of the Board since March 2017, but abruptly left the seat for reasons never publicly announced, leaving Christian Berg, vice chairman of the Board since May 2020 - and Sonderborg Airport Director - with the reins as an interim solution.  
   Mr Jorgensen brings in wide experience with airport management, having served as Billund Airport CEO from 2010 to 2018; a period marked by unique growth and development.
   Mr Jorgensen is also well-acquainted with Greenland's aviation industry, serving as Air Greenland Chairman of the Board from June 1018 till his move this month to Kalaallit Airports.
