Nov 30, 2020 (newstodate): Half of Finnair's fleet of Airbus A330-300 aircraft has now been sent for long-term storage in France.
Four out of the airline's eight aircraft of the type are thus to hibernate at Tarbes-Lourde Airport in the French Pyrenees for storage and contiued maintenance by Tarmac Aerosave.
Of the remaining four Airbus A330-300 aircraft, three are dedicated to all-cargo flight operations while a fourth aircraft is still used for long-haul passenger flights.
More than half of Finnair's 37 Airbus A320 Family aircraft are also on long-term parking - some with Tarmac Aerosave in France, and 17 at Vaclav Havel Airport Prague, stored and maintained by CSAT.
So far, Finnair still keeps its fleet of 16 Airbus A350-900 in the air for flights on existing routes.
