Oct 08, 2020 (newstodate): The Danish logistics company Scan Global Logistics has played a key role in lifting 180 cbm of vaccines and medical supplies to Turkmenistan.
   The operation was performed in cooperation with Volga-Dnepr Group under a UN agency vaccination program.
   The airlift in August and September 2020 comprised one IL-76TD-90VD and one Boeing 737-400SF from Volga-Dnepr Airlines and its sister carrier Atran Airlines, with flights from Volga-Dnepr's operational base at Leipzig to Turkmenistan's capital airport at Ashgabat.
   Scan Global Logistics managed the flow and consolidation of medical supplies from various European companies into Leipzig where handling was provided by PortGround GHA.
