Oct 06, 2020 (newstodate): All four Nordic capital destinations are firmly on the schedule of Qatar Airways during the winter schedule starting October 25, 2020, till March 27, 2021.
However, the comparison with the last winter 2019/20 schedule shows the strong effects from the coronavirus impact on the air travel market.
Copenhagen Airport will see 10 against earlier 18 weekly rotations on the route from Doha, growing to 11 from March 1, 2021.
Stockholm Airport will also see 10 weekly rotations against 14 in the last winter schedule, while Oslo will have seven against earlier 14 weekly rotations this coming winter.
Finally, Qatar Airways will operate four against earlier 14 weekly rotations at Helsinki Airport, adding three more from December 17, 2020.
However, Gothenburg is not included in this winter schedule.
Qatar Airways launched services from Qatar to Scandinavia with Stockholm as its first destination from November 27, 2007, adding flights from Qatar to Copenhagen from March 30, 2010, and to Oslo from October 5, 2011, rounding off in the Nordic region with flights to Helsinki, Finland, from October 10, 2016, and finally adding its 5th Nordic, and 2nd Swedish destination, Gothenburg, from December 18, 2018.
