Oct 08, 2020 (newstodate): With the opening of its coming new base at Oslo Airport, Wizz Air has so far announced no less than 12 new bases in 2020.
Revealed at the news conference earlier this week, the carrier plans to base two Airbus A320 aircraft at Oslo Airport to launch flights on a new domestic route network competing head-on with Norwegian and SAS.
Flights will launch from November 5, 2020, with two daily rotations on the route Oslo-Bergen, increasing to three daily rotations from November 23; two daily rotations on the route Oslo-Trondheim, going up to three daily from November 23; finally one daily rotation on the route Oslo-Tromso, increasing to two daily rotations also from November 23, 2020.
