Oct 22, 2020 (newstodate): Icelandair has presented its plans for flights in the next Summer 2021 program marked by the Covid-19 effects.
Focusing on its key markets to and from Iceland as well as providing convenient connections between Europe and North America, the carrier will be offering some 25-30 percent less seats in the program, compared to summer 2019.
On the schedule will be flights to 22 destinations in Europe including Oslo, Bergen, Copenhagen, Billund, Stockholm, Helsinki, Amsterdam, Paris, Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Munich, Geneva, Zurich, Brussels, London, Glasgow, Manchester, Dublin, Madrid, Milan and Tenerife.
The carrier will offer flights to 10 destinations in North America including Boston, New York, Seattle, Minneapolis, Washington, Denver, Chicago, Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal.
In 2020, the Icelandair Group's fleet comprises 22 Boeing 757 aircraft, down to 19 in 2021.
