Oct 3, 2020 (newstodate): The Danish carrier Global Reach Aviation, based at Billund Airport, has added a second CRJ-200 aircraft to its fleet.
The 20-years old aircraft is acquired on a lease contract with the Canadian aircraft leasing company Avmax Group and will be operated by Copenhagen Airtaxi.
Set up in 2015 with one ex-Cimber Air CRJ200 aircraft, Global Reach Aviation offers ad-hoc charter flights and adds capacity to meet rising market demands in Covid-19 times.
In January 21020, Global Reach Aviation entered a cooperation with Copenhagen Airtaxi, shifting its aircraft fleet from the AOC of its former partner since September 2017, the German operator ProAir, to the AOC of Copenhagen Airtaxi, established in 1961 and today managing a fleet of 19 aircraft, including also four Pilatus PC-12.
