Jan 23, 2020 (newstodate): The Hungarian LCC Wizz Air has had its hand on the on/off button concerning services between Lithuania and Iceland - but now it is to be "off".
From the start of the coming summer schedule 2020, the carrier is thus pulling out from the route connecting Vilnius and Keflavik.
The carrier launched flights on the route between Keflavik, Iceland, and Vilnius, in Lithuania, with the first flight in October 2016, planning for year-round operations.
This did not, however, materialize at the time, but Wizz Air has been continuing flights on the route during this winter schedule with two weekly rotations, also targeting passengers from Belarus.
Now it is all over from the end of March 2020.
