Jan 24, 2020 (newstodate): SAS is confident of the success for its route connecting Norway and Ukraine.
After an eight-years hiatus, the carrier reopened the route on October 26, 2019, offering three weekly rotations.
As planned, flights have been suspended from January 14 till February 14, 2020, but are to return again from February 15, also with three weekly rotations.
SAS earlier operated flights between Kiev and Copenhagen from March 30, 2008, but suspended services by March 25, 2011, due to low demand in the market.
Prior to that, SAS also attempted to operate the Copenhagen-Kiev route in 1992, but pulled out again in 1995.
