Named Animawings, the carrier has applied for an AOC with the Romanian CAA and is now preparing for launch of services by the coming summer season.
According to information displayed by its owner, Romania's largest tour operator, Christian Tour owned by the Dutch tourism group Memento Group Holding BV, the carrier will start out with Boeing 737 aircraft of yet-unannounced type and numbers.
The core leadership will comprise Panait Mihai, Cirjeu Bogdan Cristian, and Stoian Antonio-Viorel who will be General Manager of Anima Wings, to be based at Bucharest.
