Jan 13, 2020 (newstodate): The Polish carrier LOT is reportedly to acquire three Boeing 777 aircraft to bridge the capacity gap from sustained groundings of its Dreamliner fleet.
The three Boeing 777-200 aircraft to be added during the coming months were formerly operated by Singapore Airlines that is phasing them out as new Airbus A350-900 and Boeing 787-10 aircraft are delivered.
According to available information, LOT is still seeing five Boeing 787 aircraft out or service, creating a need for additional wide-body capacity at the bases in Warsaw and Budapest.
