Jan 10, 2020 (newstodate): Copenhagen Airport saw its total cargo volumes down in 2019, commercial and integrator traffic included.
A total of 345,296 tonnes of cargo was handled at the airport in January-December 2019, which was a decrease by 3.1 percent, y-o-y.
Excluding the integrator traffic, volumes dropped 3.2 percent to 269,701 tonnes, while volumes handled by the integrators was also down 2.7 percent, to 75,594 tonnes.
In December 2019 alone, the total volumes, excluding integrator carriers, were down nine percent, to 20,078 tonnes, notably due to a 16 percent drop in belly cargo on passenger aircraft, while freighters saw volumes up by three percent to 4,103 tonnes.
Non-integrator trucked cargo also decreased in December by 22 percent to 4,716 tonnes.
