Jan 21, 2020 (newstodate): Copenhagen Airports in a consortium with a Turkish partner did not make it to the second round in the tender for Montenegro's airports.
Copenhagen Airport teamed up with the Turkish investment firm Cengiz Holding in a consortium to compete for the 30-year concession for the two international airports.
Six other parties air participated in the first round, including Incheon International Airport Corporation, Indian GMR, Limak Holding, Corporation America Airports from Luxembourg, as well as three consortiums.
But the Danish/Turkish bid did not qualify for short-listing, and only South Korea’s Incheon International Airport Corporation, GMR from India, Corporation America Airports from Luxembourg and the Groupe ADP - TAV consortium are now racing for the concession.
These finalists have 60 days to deliver their final and binding bids.
