Jan 28, 2020 (newstodate): Russia's St Petersburg Pulkovo Airport has named the airport's best performing airlines in 2019 in various segments and categories.
   Pobeda Airlines took the prize as the Fastest Growing Carrier over 500,000 passengers, with passenger volumes up 62.1 percent, y-o-y.
   The Fastest Growing Airline in the range 100,000-500,000 pax in 2019 was the Latvian carrier airBaltic with an increase by 30.9 percent to a total of 193,700 passengers on up to four daily rotations between Riga and St Petersburg.
   Another key performance was noted by Finnair rated as the Best Developing International Carrier at St Petersburg in 2019, with 208,100 passengers, up 44.4 percent, y-o-y.
   In 2019, the carrier operated up to four daily flights between St Petersburg and Helsinki, and also in 2019 Pulkovo Airport and Finnair celebrated 55 years of sustained service on the St Petersburg – Helsinki route.
