Sep 05, 2019 (newstodate): As part of its ongoing fleet modernization, Uzbekistan Airways is putting its older Boeing aircraft up for sale.
On the shelf are now two of its four Boeing 767-300ER passenger aircraft, as well as its two Boeing 767-300F cargo aircraft that were converted to cargo operations in 2014.
To go are also two of six Boeing 757-200 aircraft as well as seven IL-114 aircraft that are however not operated by the airline any more.
Instead, Uzbekistan is building its long-haul future on the Boeing 787 aircraft, of which four out of seven ordered are now in service with the carrier.
