Sep 02, 2019 (newstodate): Obtaining airport slots is one thing, actually opening flights is another issue..
   Still, it is noteworthy that Japan Air Lines has obtained slots at Tokyo Haneda Airport for one daily rotation to Helsinki, in Finland, while All Nippon Airways has obtained slots for one daily flight to Scandinavia.
   With these slot allocations, Tokyo Haneda Airport has completed the process for new allocations for foreign airlines.
   Oneworld-member Japan Airlines operated its first flight from Tokyo Narita Airport to Helsinki, Finland, on February 25, 2013, now offering daily rotations on the route in a code-share agreement with Finnair.
   Member of the Star Alliance All Nippon Airways does not operate into Scandinavia, except through its cooperation with SAS that offers daily flights from Copenhagen Airport to Tokyo Narita Airport.
