Sep 10, 2019 (newstodate): A strong voice in Sweden's air cargo community, Swedavia's Cargo Development Manager Bas van Goch has decided to leave the industry.
From the end of this month, Mr van Goch will instead become a tour guide for the Maxli Travel Group, after part-time side working in this capacity already for some months.
As a tour guide for Maxli Travel Group, with the brands Scandorama and Olvemarks, Mr van Goch will accompany groups of Swedish tourist on world-wide travels.
Mr van Goch started his career in air cargo with KLM Cargo in Sweden in 2001, moved to the USA in 2004, Chicago and later Los Angeles.
In 2014, he transferred to Belgium for Air France KLM Cargo, before joining Swedavia in 2017.
As one of his lasting achievements leaving a firm mark on Sweden's air cargo industry, Mr van Goch was instrumental in establishing Air Cargo Sweden on November 15, 2018 as a venue for industrial development, dialogue between stakeholders, and a strong voice for the country's air cargo and related industries.
