Sep 10, 2019 (newstodate): The Polish carrier LOT is preparing for launch of flights on its new Asian route served with Boeing 787 aircraft.
From September 17, 2019, the carrier will be offering flights between Warsaw and Delhi with five weekly rotations also providing a capacity of 15 tonnes per flight.
LOT earlier operated flights on the route from October 1985 to October 1992, while a route from Warsaw to Mumbai was served until February 1982.
The resumption of services to India benefits from the sustained increase in LOT's long-haul aircraft fleet now comprising eight Boeing 787-8 and six Boeing 787-9 aircraft, with two more Boeing 787-9 aircraft on orders.
Lot Cargo has appointed the Indian GSA provider Group Concorde as its Cargo GSSA in the Indian market.
