Sep 25, 2019 (newstodate): Oslo Airport will see a new cargo airline, Silk Way West Airlines, on the tarmac on September 28, 2019.
But it will so far be a one-off seafood charter operation only, according to the airline's office in Amsterdam.
-The operation is a fully-booked charter flight allowing for no further bookings, with the Boeing 747 freighter flying in from Amsterdam and continuing to Tianjin, China, via Baku in Azerbaijan, the representative says.
-As of today, no further Silk Way West Airlines operations at Oslo are planned, and we will have to wait for the coming Winter 2019 schedule to see what the future will bring.
In Scandinavia, the carrier is served by AviationPlus and Kales as GSAs, with bookings managed from the office at Amsterdam.
