Sep 11, 2019 (newstodate): PostNord has picked a site adjacent to Gothenburg Landvetter Airport for  a new 46,000 sq m logistics facility.
   Located at Landvetter Logistic Center, a joint venture between a real estate developer and Swedavia, the coming new facility will be built in two phases, with the first 20,000 sq m section to become operational by June 2020, and the second part to follow prior to the Autumn 2020 season.
   While mail volumes are steadily declining, PostNord is seeing a strong increase by 19 percent, y-o-y, in Q1, 2019, in the volume of e-trade driven shipments as the driver behind the build-up of handling and sorting capacity at Gothenburg Airport.
