Sep 23, 2019 (newstodate): The Hungarian low-cost operator Wizz Air is again to expand its business in the Romanian market.
The carrier will allocate one more Airbus A321 aircraft to its base in Bucharest, growing its fleet at this base to a total of 12 aircraft.
The first Romanian flight by Wizz Air took off from Bucharest in 2007, and made Bucharest its first Romanian operational base on June 7, 2007.
Wizz Air is now offering 148 routes to 20 countries from ten Romanian airports with a total fleet of 28 Airbus A320 Family aircraft.
