Sep 27, 2019 (newstodate): The Estonian carrier Nyxair, based at Tallinn Airport, has landed a new customer to serve Italian domestic traffic.
With the first flight on September 20, 2019, the carrier is operating flights between Napoli and Salerno on an ACMI contract with the Maltese airline HelloFly.
The route is served with two weekly rotations using Nyxair's SAAB 340 aircraft.
Starting from July 2019, Nyxair is already operating in the UK on behalf of Loganair, providing flights out of Glasgow Airport, as well as out of Carlisle Lake District Airport.
To cater to the increasing business volume, Nyxair is now recruiting more SAAB 340 captains and seeking more aircraft to its fleet now comprising three SAAB 340 passenger aircraft, owned by the Finnish regional aircraft leasing company Alandia Air AB, as well as one SAAB 340 aircraft in cargo version.
