Sep 13, 2019 (newstodate): The new Danish carrier Great Dane Airlines has landed a new order for charter flights.
The carrier has been contracted by Langley Travel for bi-weekly flights from Stockholm Arlanda and Gothenburg Airport to Paris Orly Airport, to feed passengers into onward flights by Air Caraibes to Port-au Prince, Tahiti.
Flights from Stockholm will commence on December 5, 2019, and flights from Gothenburg start from November 12, 2019.
At the same time, Great Dane Airlines offers passenger sales on the ferry flights from its base at Aalborg Airport to the two Swedish destinations.
Great Dane Airlines launched services with a flight programme comprising two weekly rotations between Aalborg Airport and Dublin from June 21, 2019, adding flights to Edinburgh from June 24 with two rotations, and two weekly flights to Nice from June 26 - during the summer season only.
In the fleet are two ex-Stobart Air Embraer 195LR aircraft owned by the airline's investor Eigil B. Christensen, who transfers the aircraft to Great Dane Airlines on a leasing contract.
