Sep 04, 2019 (newstodate): The International provider of ground handling and aircraft fuelling services, Baltic Ground Service, BGS, is preparing for expansion of its business in the Czech Republic.
The company, a subsidiary of BGS and part of the Lithuanian Avia Solutions Group, has signed a 1.2 million euro operational financing contract with Raiffeisen Bank group, lifting the burden from the shareholders and paving the way for new business development in the Czech market.
BGS entered the Czech market by opening an aircraft fuelling station at Ostrava-Mosnov International Airport, servicing its first airline customer Ryanair on April 1, 2017.
Ostrava-Mosnov International Airport then became the 16th location for BGS in Europe and the first in the Czech Republic.
At Ostrava, the company supplies some 7,500 tons of aviation fuel per year.
