Aug 15, 2019 (newstodate): One UK low-cost carrier with high ambitions since 2004 for the Polish market is now gradually pulling out: easyJet.
The carrier has announced that flights on the route between Warsaw and Berlin will be discontinued by November 3, 2019.
This will be the third easyJet route to be axed in 2019, after closing down the route between Warsaw and Geneva by the end of July, and the closure of the route between Warsaw and London Gatwick, announced earlier this year.
easyJet is thus retaining only one of its four routes at Warsaw - the flights to Geneva.
The carrier is giving up competition with other carriers at Warsaw, notably Wizz Air.
