Aug 30, 2019 (newstodate): Sweden's second-largest domestic airline Braathens Regional Airlines has contracted Skyworld for re-marketing of its fleet of Avro RJ aircraft.
The package now thrown into the market comprises eight Avro RJ100 and two Avro RJ85 aircraft, plus accompanying spare engines, spares and tooling, and the aircraft will be available for new operators or owners around the turn of the year..
Earlier, plans were to replace the Avro aircraft with new Bombardier CS300/Airbus A220 aircraft, but the order for 10 aircraft was later cancelled after several postponements.
The airline provides scheduled services as well as charter and wet-lease solutions.
