Aug 30, 2019 (newstodate): Singapore Airlines is increasing its offerings in the Danish market from this autumn.
Starting from October 28, 2019, Singapore Airlines will replace the Boeing 777-300ER currently operating its Singapore-Copenhagen route with Airbus A350-900XWB aircraft, and from January 5, 2020, the carrier will also increase the frequency on the route from today's five to seven weekly rotations.
Today providing the only non-stop direct flights connecting Copenhagen and Singapore, Singapore Airlines celebrated its 40 years anniversary at Copenhagen Airport in 2017, and since 2013 the carrier has been operating the route in a JV with SAS concerning air traffic between Singapore and Scandinavia - an arrangement later expanded with the addition of the Stockholm–Singapore route from May 2017.
