Aug 12, 2019 (newstodate): In line with ongoing organizational developments, Qatar Airways Cargo is now setting up a new position for the Nordic and Baltic region.
The company is thus calling applicants for the position as Cargo Manager Nordics & Baltics.
Referring to Bas Wijenberg, Qatar Airways Cargo Snr Mgr Regional Cargo, the successful candidate will be based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and will manage the Nordics & Baltic states where sales and marketing is performed by cargo GSSA NordicGSA in the Nordic markets and Skypartners in the three Baltic markets.
During the coming winter 2019/230 schedule, Qatar Airways will be operating a total of 67 weekly flights between Doha and its Nordic destinations, including 18 weekly flights at Copenhagen, 14 weekly flights at Stockholm, Oslo and Helsinki, and seven weekly flights at Gothenburg - ll carrying some 20 tonnes of cargo on fully-booked passenger flights.
On the cargo side, this would tentatively translate into a total of 1,340 tonnes of cargo uplift per week, in addition to the freighter operations at Oslo Airport.
