Aug 01, 2019 (newstodate): WIZZ Air is again expanding its flights schedule to Russia.
Based on its UK AOC, WIZZ Air thus to launch flights from London Luton to St Petersburg Pulkovo Airport and Moscow Vnukovo Airport from October 1, 2019, with daily rotations on both routes.
These new routes will be WIZZ Air's first flights to Russia from outside of Hungary, where the carrier has its second AOC.
WIZZ Air became the first foreign low-cost carrier at St Petersburg Pulkovo Airport with flights from Hungary's Budapest Airport, offering two weekly rotations from August 27, 2017.
Starting from December 18, 2017, the carrier also launched flights from Debrecen, in Hungary, to Moscow Vnukovo Airport with two weekly rotations.
