Aug 12, 2019 (newstodate): New Managing Director at Finnair Cargo is Mikko Tainio.
Mr Tainio has taken up his new position as of August 1, 2019, but builds on his 14 years with Finnair in various capacities - last serving as Managing Director Finnair Kitchen since April 2017, and not with direct relation to the airline's cargo business during his long career with Finnair that started in February 2005, as Business Controller & Analyst.
Mikko Tainio has thus succeeded Janne Tarvainen, in the office since July 2016 and serving almost 20 years with Finnair in various positions.
Mr Tarvainen is continuing his career as new CEO of the Finnish regional carrier Norra that operates flights for Finnair on routes from Helsinki to destinations in Finland, the Baltic region, to Stockholm Bromma and to Gdansk with a fleet comprising 12 ATR and 12 E190 aircraft.
