Aug 05, 2019 (newstodate): Cargo volumes took another dip at Denmark's Billund Airport in July 2019.
At a total of 6,210 tonnes in July, volumes were thus down by one percent impacted by a sustained drop by 2.7 percent, y-o-y, in imports, while exports at 4,057 tonnes remained unchanged.
During the first seven months of 2019, the airport has handled a total of 41,773 tonnes, which is only 0.4 percent below levels in 2018.
Again, imports are down by seven percent to 13,341 tonnes which is however balanced by an increase by three percent in exports, to 28,432 tonnes.
On a positive note, flown volumes are now close to one-third and growing by five percent in 2019, with flown imports up 6.9 percent and flown exports rising 3.5 percent, y-o-y.
