Aug 27, 2019 (newstodate): Aviator Finland has secured the handling contract with the third Chinese carrier to launch flights to Helsinki: Sichuan Airlines.
Starting from September 16, 2019, the carrier will be offering two weekly flights on the route to Helsinki that will become a triangular service Chengdu-Helsinki-Copenhagen-Helsinki-Chengdu, based on the carrier's 5th Freedom rights.
Sichuan Airlines will become the third Chinese carrier into Helsinki Airport after Tibet Airlines launched flights from April 8, 2019, with one weekly rotation on the route between Jinan, in China's Shandong Province, and Helsinki with Airbus A330, adding a second frequency from May 9, 2019, and the Chinese low-cost carrier Juneyao Airlines with flights between Shanghai and Helsinki starting from June 28, 2019, offering daily services.
With Jukka-Pekka Kujala as Mng Dir, Aviator Finland has thus secured handling contract with all three Chinese carriers at Helsinki Airport.
