Jul 05, 2019 (newstodate): The Serb government has now opened a tender for privatization of the state-owned MRO provider JAT Tehnica.
   Interested parties have until July 31, 2019, to come forward, and requirements include certification to provide maintenance of Bombardier and Embraer aircraft, as well as a turnover at or above 40 mio euro.
   The eventual winner of the tender may take over 99.3 percent of the stake in JAT Tehnica that was separated from JAT Airlines in 2006, and it was expected that the new owner of JAT, now trading as Air Serbia, from 2013 Etihad, would boost also business at the MRO company.
