Jul 05, 209 (newstodate): Finnair has cut short its wet-lease contract with the Lithuanian capacity provider GetJEt Airlines.
The contract signed in June 2018 was originally slated to expire in January 2019, but was extended till October 26, 2019.
But changes in Finnair's route planning has made GetJet's Airbus A320 capacity redundant, and Finnair has instead contracted WDL Aviation to operate an Embraer 190 aircraft on the route between Helsinki and Hanover as well as between Helsinki and Hamburg during the period July 1-August 31, 2019.
