Jun 11, 2019 (newstodate): For whatever it is worth, the Ukrainian district court has issued an order for arrest of five Antonov AN-124-100 aircraft operated by Volga-Dnepr.
   The court's decision orders the arrest of the aircraft and bans also airports and other third parties from handling and servicing the aircraft around the world.
   The court's decision refutes the certification by Rosaviation of AMTES GmbH as the developer of An-124-100 aircraft modifications and of issuance of the Supplemental Type Certificate for the replacement of type design "Airworthiness as Related to Confirmation of Service Life and Lifetime".
   Ukraine does not recognize the Russian certification as Antonov is considered the only rightful owner of the type certification and any development of the aircraft and its maintenance.
   So far, the Russian An-124 aircraft continue to operate seemingly unaffected by the Ukrainian verdict.
