Jun 20, 2019 (newstodate): The first annual Silk Sky Forum will take place in Russia's St Petersburg in October 2019, calling the aviation industry to consider and negotiate new potentials for air traffic.
Behind the conference on October 8-10, 2019, is the UK company Global Travel Investments in cooperation with St Petersburg Pulkovo Airport as main sponsor.
The Silk Sky Forum is conceived to become a new air transport and networking forum adding air to China's aggressive Belt and Road strategy supposedly linking Asia, Central Asia, Russia and Europe within one unified stream of logistics and trace lanes, and so far focusing on surface and maritime transportation.
The Forum agenda will include two key tracks: a full-day high-level economic summit followed by one-on-one meetings between airlines, airport, and tourism authorities.
