Jun 06, 2019 (newstodate): The Airports of Thailand has now published in report for 2018, including also details on air traffic between the Nordic markets and Thailand.
   Figures on Bangkok Suvarnbhumi Airport places Finland topping the Nordics with a total of 3357,470 passengers on flights to and from Helsinki and a total of 1,310 aircraft movements.
   Copenhagen takes second place with 268,756 passengers and 941 aircraft movements.
   Stockholm follows with 143,497 passengers and 509 aircraft movements, while Oslo generated 117,417 passengers on 828 aircraft movements.
   Looking into growth trends in 2018, Helsinki was alone in seeing passenger volumes up at Bangkok Suvarnbhumi Airport in 2018.
   Helsinki thus grew passenger volumes by 18.1 percent, y-o-y, while Copenhagen was down 4.7 percent, Oslo by 4.6 percent, and Stockholm by 3.6 percent.
   Cargo-wise, Copenhagen took the lead in the Nordic region with 14,389 tonnes, followed by Helsinki with 12,977 tonnes, Stockholm with 11,586 tonnes and finally Oslo with 3,254 tonnes.
