Jun 04, 2019 (newstodate): Taking the industry by surprise, Finnair Cargo is to have a new Managing Director from August 1, 2019: Mikko Tainio.
   Mikko Tainio thus succeeds Janne Tarvainen, in the office since July 2016 and serving almost 20 years with Finnair in various positions.
   Mr Tarvainen will continue his career as the coming new CEO of the Finnish regional carrier Norra that operates flights for Finnair on routes from Helsinki to destinations in Finland, the Baltic region, to Stockholm Bromma and to Gdansk with a fleet comprising 12 ATR and 12 E190 aircraft.
   Mr Tainio takes over this new assignment with Finnair Cargo after more than 14 years of service with Finnair, currently serving as Finnair Kitchen Managing Director since April 2017.
