Jun 06, 2019 (newstodate): Following on good results in cooperation since 2017 between SAS and the Estonian capacity provider Regional Jet, the parties are now taking a further step.
From July 15, 2019, Regional Jet will also be operating for SAS out of Stockholm after having so far been allocating capacity out of Copenhagen Airport in the form of four ATR 72 aircraft.
The two parties have thus agreed on a contract where Regional Jet takes over from FlyBe, allowing four new ATR 72 aircraft to flights on routes out of Stockholm.
In addition, Regional Jet is also allocating two CRJ900 for SAS as back-up capacity, bringing the fleet to 10 aircraft dedicated to SAS operations from the start of 2020.
